Uploading today too because of the inksgiving event on Tapas :) (and also to make up for the lack of updates during the last weeks)

The waiting list for endocrinologists are 5-6 months at the gender clinic I go to and my therapist hasn't even finished evaluating me yet :') people can do so many regretful, permanent things to their bodies (tattoos, breast augmentation, children...) but for some reason trans people can't have this autonomy. Why? Because of the small number of people who regret transitioning? Why isn't there the same kind of gatekeeping for other big decisions? Or maybe let the trans people themselves decide whether or not they want therapy and counseling. Why do I have to talk to someone else for months to convince them that I'm really unhappy and my body hinders me a great deal?
